Jeffrey Dupuis is a Louisiana bred, New Orleans seasoned photographer recently relocated to Fayetteville, AR. He spends his days as an addiction counselor and his nights as a music fan.
Jeffrey came into photography through playing guitar. Playing in hippie bands through college, Jeffrey found that after soundcheck you could either play pool or drink, and he wasn’t very good at either, so he started taking pictures to pass the time. Over time, Jeffrey found it easier to rise to the top of a smaller pool of photographers than guitarists.
Jeffrey’s work has appeared in numerous publications, including: Rolling Stone, Relix, Down Beat, Offbeat, Jazz Times, Gambit. Jeffrey is also a frequent contributing photographer to LiveForLiveMusic.com, Jambands.com, HonestTune.com, Offbeat.com, Relix.com and Jambase.com.
Jeffrey’s work appears throughout the New Orleans music community on CDs, websites and press materials. Clients include Tipitina’s, WWOZ, Thread Head Records and The Howlin Wolf. Bands using Jeffrey’s work include: The Meters, George Porter Jr, Galactic, The Radiators, Ivan Neville’s Dumpsterphunk, Papa Grows Funk, Honey Island Swamp Band, The New Orleans Suspects, The Revivalists, Billy Iuso, Flow Tribe, Tab Benoit, Derrick Freeman, Terrence Higgins, Tommy Malone, Joe Krown, Glen David Andrews and more.
